New development program for HiPos in MENA region based on Building Career Capital

Clairmont Advisors introduce a new training program for MENA region where training is targeted toward organizations who want to develop the next generation of leaders.

The program is based on the theoretical framework of Career Capital and further customized for the region. Globalization and other technical developments have influenced new organizational structures, working methods, career management strategies, and leadership development. Knowledge workers can no longer rely on starting careers out with standard qualifications needed for employment.

How do we prepare the future leaders among our staff?

Given that existing employees will eventually lead the company and advance it, this is a crucial subject that all organizations must address. As a result, one of the most pivotal roles shared by the Executive team and Human Resources is those employee’s growth.

Organizational emerging leaders have a lot on their plates. While honing the abilities required for future responsibilities, they must continue to excel in their existing positions. In order to do that, people must assume accountability for and ownership of their personal growth.

Although the organization offers tools and chances, it is ultimately up to the person to seize those opportunities. The CCT program is designed to address the need for individuals to own not only their development but their career as well.

What is Career Capital Theory?

Skills, contacts, credentials, and runway are all examples of things that place individuals in a better position to make a difference in the future. There are three interdependent types of career-based investments that people make and through which their careers unfold. These three investments are different types of knowledge that individuals need for being successful at work and in their careers. Clairmont have taken these 3 key principles from the Career Capital Theory and overlaid the regional context to develop a truly unique program!

Know the Why – Understand the drivers behind their actions and how to adopt new practices
Know the What – Understand the key practices to further the development of technical and behavioral skills
Know the Who – Identify how their networks can be intentionally grown to support their development

This program helps participants to learn how they can apply their development to support their organization’s ambitions, discover the motivations that drive their careers, understand how to train their “default mindset” in order to adopt new practices, learn key concepts like personal mastery and deliberate practice, build their reputation in and outside their organizations and grow their networks to include individuals that can help them develop.

Program Structure:

  • 6-8 participants

  • 6 weeks in duration 

  • 90 minute sessions once a week 

  • Individual and teamwork assignments between weekly session
